Bow Tying
Below are two demonstrations of the basic bow tying methods. Bows will be needed on the single flower corsage and the 3 flower bud vase.
If you're struggling with the normal floral bow, you may find it easier to make a "pom-pom" bow which is demonstrated below and is acceptable for use on the single flower corsage, but be careful of the size.

Single Flower Corsage
Below is a good example of a single flower corsage that would score well according to the rubric for the competition.
3 Flower Bud Vase
Below is one method for creating a 3 flower bud vase. Keep in mind that you materials will include 3 carnations, baby's breath, and leather leaf. Many of the accents in this video will not be available.
9 Flower Centerpiece
The centerpiece below is what the 9 flower centerpiece should look like when it is finished. This particular arrangement is not created with 9 carnations, but it gives you an idea of the shape that you need to create using carnations, mini carnations, baby's breath, and leather leaf.
